This page is dialogue heavy and some of the balloons may not actually flow "correctly" but you don't necessarily have to read them rigidly across each panel then down. Some of the dialogue can be read as remarks off to one side or at the same time as the other, especially poor Celeste. They aren't exactly being very nice to her considering what she's seen. But this also sets up the pecking order in the salvage crew. Astra is the boss, Lunessa is the brain and Celeste is the whiner. You could almost say heart, brain and mouth? Astra is "do the right thing", Lunessa is all information and Celeste is scared.

The background of the GOOB is based on some of the comments on previous pages. I had the idea it was immature but one comment said something about porn and that that me thinking. What if someone downloaded their porn collection into an immature biological AI? One that had a "survive" program? Even a "procreate" subroutine to further extend its range for deep space exploration?

They are reading a download from the files from their own ship's memory. Being a salvage crew they would have updated records for all ships in an area as an annotated insurance registry. And some would have abstracts of projects that were aboard as well as crew and cargo.

Now did the GOOB ingest the remaining crew before or after they died? Lunessa doesn't mention that. Probably can't obtain that kind of information from the read-outs of the remains.

Yes, I ask all these questions and consider them, but mention them and this thing would end up reading like an encyclopedia rather than an exploitation B-movie.

By the way there will be a Tales of SIG treatment of the GOOB but going back to its creator and the full-grown prototype. This is hentai/horror/exploitation and that's going to be hentai meets Star Trek. Tee-hee. Script still isn't finished yet and this one still has mostly raw artwork and no buffer. That's why I'm down to one page a week.
