G.O.O.B. page 12

This comic is just barely on schedule. I have a whole two page buffer. The panels are a challenge to pick and choose because with no script I just took pictures and took pictures.

And I'm behind on my Drunk Duck award presentations. I should have done it this past weekend but I worked a ton of overtime and did nothing but sleep for two days. What I call a "lost weekend". And the mish-mosh of dreams I had. I'm pretty sure at least one had me at the awards show and another on the set of one of Belle's movies. Fortunately I remember nothing.

Any late judges reading this: ain't it awesome? Isn't it the best tribute to bad exploitation B-movies you ever saw? And that medium thing– how about a special double award between this and Sword of Kings?

And there may not be a Sword of Kings page this week so I can work on the presentations. I am so far behind with the heat wave and now overtime - ugh - I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go.

Technical Bit:

A Giant Organic Optical Brain's tentacles actually grow and recede as necessary for him to manipulate his surroundings. The implants on the ladies here move. That really can't be shown in the comic but it's why they're different panel to panel. It's really disgusting sick stuff. The slobber, gel, slime effects didn't show up well with the filter so they were left out. It was just another set of shadows and looks more like grease and grime than slime.

A G.O.O.B. is referred to as a "He/him" because it impregnates with sperm so biologically it is male. However unlike English, the Narthan language has gender neutral personal pronouns as well as impersonal pronouns (it). They really can't be translated unless I made up some kind of word like "sey/sher" or something which could get real confusing. Only if there was a discussion between an Earther and an Aordian would be become relevant so it won't be included it.
