Last page the ever observant El Cid noted how little use Astra's crew was in just becoming GOOBARians to come back at her. Seeing how quickly she takes out the first that might not exactly worry her. After this Savage just might hire her for any new crew.

Any way huge congratulations to Transneptunian and all the other winners of the Drunk Duck awards. Later on we may see some more drunk goings on from awards night. Things may not have gone at all well for Belle and company that night. After all we lost in nearly every single category we were nominated for.

Now admittedly the quality of work this last year in SoK and Belle's Best just hasn't been the most spectacular eye-popping stuff. The competition in each of the categories was super tough this year. With Transneptunian blowing up everything in sight, there was no way a character driven epic fantasy let alone low budget sci-fi movies could compete. Character design? I use dolls. Never, ever, ever going to beat drawn or rendered designs. Still it feels like Goodfellas beating out Lord of the Rings for costume design.

So really there was no way any awards were coming my way. Still a little disappointing.

And you know who stepped up and created the most content for the awards this year? Most presentations and still doing extras and concession pages?

Yeah. That guy. Guess who will be so forgotten in any awards for presenters?

And that's only been the tip of the iceberg of disappointment the past three weeks.

I keep asking myself "How much longer?" And whenever you say "It can't get worse!" It will find a way to get worse.
