Rallying the Troops

There was a comment about the pace of my comic on the last page.

While I admit the pace is leisurely, and the actions are probably not reflective of a real RP group, you must remember that every RP group is different and has a different set of priorities. I remember my first RP group from when I was in high school; we could often spend a whole session without getting into any real combat situations. The one I joined in college, however, was very different and more combat oriented.

Also, not as much time has passed for the players as it has for us. The proper time-frame for how long this comic has taken is about how long it takes you to read it. Since it probably doesn't take more than a minute to read even a double-length page, I would say it's only been a little over an hour for them. And in that time, I have used 375 screenshots, and there are only 543 screenshots for episode 1 at AvatarSpirit.net. (I say "only" because some of the later episodes have almost 1000). Which means this is probably going to end up being a short session. Everyone is still establishing their characters and trying to get into the world and isn't thinking about combat (except maybe Katie, and Aaron is keeping her distracted from pressing that point).

I'm just saying, keep it in perspective.
