No, your eyes do not deceive you. After over a year of not updating, I have returned. And with a new page!

So, what happened? Well, lots of things. I had computer issues. I had real life issues. I had periods where I considered erasing the comic completely and starting over from scratch on a different site. I had periods where I was convinced I had to redo every comic so I had a consistent style before I could even think of continuing the story. I had periods where I thought it wasn't worth the effort because I'm not funny and I have no talent.

But I never thought of it as a dead project. Something kept pulling me back. During an all too brief period where I actually had money, I bought Comic Life so I could produce a comic that looked good, but I could never get past a few pages without being convinced I needed to start over.

So what changed? I'm not sure. I just realized that before I go back and change everything, maybe I should at least try to finish this episode. So I made this page, convinced I'd be dissatisfied with it. And you know what? While I was working on it, I remembered how fun working on this comic was when I was coming up with fresh ideas every day instead of trying to rewrite old pages. So for now, the old pages will stand as they are. I'll work on new versions of old pages whenever I feel like it, and post them as I finish them, but for now the focus is on new pages.
