Lila's father:
Oh, son, I would've liked to spare you this fate so much. It will consume you, it will… become you, until your flesh will be it's flesh… hapless me!

Lila:
Look, that's what's left of me: a purple, elastic mass on a skeleton…
Lila thinking:
Father, my poor father… you've known it…


Now this is where colour would come handy. Then you could see that the organism which was created from the guy two pages ago that merges with the father is red and yellow and the one that merges with Lila is green and blue. Once they've completely fused, it will become purple ('lila' in german).
