I can't remember seeing a comic page where a character was continuously happy. Angst-ridden, desperate and all, yes, but joyous? At most a splash page, but not through several panels.

And I know it would have worked better if I had shown her fighting for getting the operation done. If she would've had to convince her guardian or raise the money on their own. I'm determined to show her struggle mnore detailed when?
