In education, middle school or junior high school, serves as the "bridge" between primary and adolescent learning.
In fact, it is the educational level which typically serves the sixth, seventh and eighth grades
(Or in many places in the United States, seventh, eighth and ninth grades).
This level of education is also considered the post-secondary education years.
