"G. Wagner" stands for Georg Wagner. Not that of the WWI Polish physician from long ago…I didn't even make that connection. Georg is based off an exchange student I had a few years back.

He isn't really a antagonist for Teddy. He's just the best man for the goalkeeper job. As the soccer season unfolds, you'll see how their relationship develops.
