Since there's been a bit of confusion over Shirai's line, "Stop being so soupy", I thought I should explain. ^___^
In some places, people use "soupy" like you might use "gushy", "soppy", "sappy", or anything that could be construed as, "You're a guy and you're blubbering all over me! Suck it up!" XD
Think of it like a term from a different state - like the whole pop/soda war. (I'm a "pop" person myself. I will never stop saying it! NEVER! )
