Oh- Oops.

A little information: Onyx is what is known as a Royal Guard. Kieran is a Guardian.

Royal Guards protect the entire Royal family, and traditionally, there was only one. As the Delphin Empire grew, the Royal Guard took on managing security around the royal estate, then eventually the city.

Guardians existed prior to Royal Guards. They were charged with protecting a single delphin. It wasn't uncommon for the two to develop a romantic relationship. Not recommended, and you'll soon see a very good reason why, but happened.

I'll have the whole break down on my website (and maybe elsewhere) later. (It's been almost a year since I said this and I still haven't done it rofl heck)

(Also: Multiple partners and non-het relationships are extremely common and accepted. I think of all my characters, I have one, MAYBE 2 that are straight. Basically: everyone queer af. Kinda like the writer. :V)
