#033 - Try Rage's Pies!
mastergloyd onNo doubt you’re looking at this and wondering, “What’s with the style change?” Well, it turns out that I’ve found a way to make these comics quicker and more efficiently by working with this new, more traditional style… which is very similar to the old one. The fact of the matter is, I love working with watercolors and the style was different and edgy and cool and all, but when it comes to updating an acceptable amount of pages/strips using that process… well, I just ain’t gonna make it. And, honestly, I wasn’t really proud of the final products. It just always seemed to be lacking something, y’know? I know it isn’t exactly the best timing seeing as how this is just a few pages after when this comic was featured, and the watercolor style was a first impression to anyone who checked it out from DrunkDuck!. I’ll probably find fun ways to incorporate the watercolor into the comic at times, but it just takes too long to fill a page with. I’m sorry if that turns anyone off to the comic or pisses anyone off. This comic is really meant to test out different skills and styles and decide what I think works best for me. Plus, I wanna make sure I can produce new content as often as possible without losing quality. Hope you guys can forgive me!
That being said, what do you think of the way the comic’s heading? Looks like Ska Kid has a new technique up his sleeve! And who knew pies would make such a great defense against the police?? (Answer: Ahem.. like, everyone who’s ever watched a cartoon before…) By the looks of the last panel, things ain’t lookin so good for Debbie. XD
