Panel 1 (Russian):
ROSINA: So the real Dr. Bernier, did she survive the murderous attack and get here safely and in one piece?
KATYA: She's injured: burns, cuts, abrasions, a big laceration. Her back is supposed to look pretty devastated. But she didn't take a direct hit.

Panel 2 (Russian):
ROSINA: Would you have believed that this little toad would get busted? Vermin never die! And she's as dear to me as a boil on my nose.
VALERIAN: You could have stayed with the education department. But now you have to watch Dr. Bernier like the apple of your eye.
ROSINA: Oh, come on, the education department is as dead as a thousand gooks now!
