20 - Read it + DIE!!!!

And thus concludes our first Blue Circus "chapter." It had its twists, it had its turns, but in the beginning we always knew we'd end up here in the end.

Well, either here or hot, lesbian sex. Either way, here we are.

Part of being both a writer and an artist is knowing every facet of your characters and their personalities. However, since—unless your characters are shallow—this is impossible or just very difficult, a good writer is constantly discovering things about his or her characters. With this strip I discovered that Sarah was the kind of girl who used to draw knives stabbing through hearts and draws guns in the margins of her "Die-ary." It felt good drawing this strip because I felt like I was getting a little bit closer to who she really is, while still showing you guys what I wanted you to see.

Also, remember this strip? This extra length is to make up for that :]
