I wanted Sureshot to be more simplified, more streamlined; no mask, pouches, extra belts, straps, shoulder pads, or tech. I didn't want to have eleven different weapons strapped all over his body.

He's just a man who happens to be exceptionally good with firearms. He chooses the right weapon for the job he's hired to do. In his mind, if he does the job right, he shouldn't need more than that.
