Author notes
My cat has finally decided to earn his keep. No, I'm not talking about him being a McDonald's employee, (in case you were wondering, that would explain all the hair you find in the food) I'm talking about him catching a mouse. You hear me!? A MOUSE. It was awesome. I noticed him hiding out in a corner of my dining room, jumping around on stuff. Putting my gun away until I could see the foam on his mouth, I investigated further. Little did I know that instead of being a spaz, he was torturing the creature to find out where its Rebel Base was. Suddenly, the mouse was escaping! It had somehow realized that it was small enough to hide underneath things, and was using this method to run away from my cat. The ingenious bastard! Of course, little did he know that I had retrieved a pot from the kitchen, and BAM! The mouse was trapped. After I flung him into the woods nearby, my cat and I retired to our designated napping areas, as it had been a long and heroic Friday mid-afternoon. Man, that was so much better than going to my court appearence today.
