So today, I was getting my car serviced… and not being at all mature about the term "serviced." (hee hee!)

Anyway, while I'm waiting in line, I start looking around for the guy in charge, figuring that he would know how long this wait would be. Or at least, I could start yelling at him in a way that would make ensure minor damage to my engine, my tires, and the back of my skull. Y'know, anything just to kill time.

However, no sooner did I ask this that I realized one of life's lessons. A lesson so bluntly harsh that it would forever change me and how I treated those around me:

That mechanics and janitors wear virtually the same exact uniform!

And, that not only was this a janitor, but he was a janitor from my high school. Realizing this, I quickly shouted, "Dude, you're a janitor! Thanks man for keeping my halls so clean!"

I suddenly stopped myself, mostly because… well, while there's certainly nothing wrong with being a janitor, it's hard to think up a good compliment for the job.

So to break the awkward silence that was slowly overcoming the situation, I threw up all over the place so he could show the world what he's made of.
