In the book, Dracula and Van Helsing often call Jonathan Harker "friend Jonathan" or "my friend". Since, in B&V's universe, they met each other in college and became friends after that, one must have taken it from the other. Which one started it, is a matter of who you ask.
Oh, and Mrs. Harker, the Count is TRYING to be uncercover here. He even shaved his moustache and all. At least make an effort to call him Christian, will you?
