So, you might notice today's comic looks a little different.
That's 'cause I changed the pencil I'm using for the initial sketches!
Originally, I used a Non-Photo Blue wooden pencil. There're a few problems with this, the main one being they're very soft and wear down quickly. This made the lines thick and I couldn't produce very fine sketches, which made inking sorta difficult, so the images weren't always.
Now, though, I'm using a mechanical pencil. I bought a ton of Pilot NEOX Eno Color .07 pencil lead in a Non-Photo Blue tone. The lead is harder, so it lasts much longer than a wooden pencil, and the tip is always sharp, which means I can create very fine, detailed lines which then make inking a lot better all-around, allowing me to produce lines that are thinner and sharper-looking.
You'll notice the changes from here on out. Whoo!
