This took longer than I'd wanted/expected, but I did some minor redesigns to the characters, as well as not sticking to the original color scheme (the very first comic shows these characters' original designs & colors). 
Obviously on the color pages, I started filling in characters' eyes with colors, rather than just black. I never did this before with these characters, so I had to work those out.
