I jumped in here today to look back at Broken Star in disdain. I was considering wiping it, but mostly I wanted to just look back on it and remember it.
What I found when I came here was a long list of comments from people who I've let down. People who actually read and enjoy Broken Star and are sad to see it go. Your comments and, yes, angry outcries have touched me in a way I cannot express. I had no idea that anyone cared that much about my homely little comic.
There's really no excuse for me letting BS die. At first I just didn't have time what with my new job and all. Now I don't have a scanner and am trying to move in to my new place. But if you really love something, you find a way, right?
I feel both elated and sad after coming here today, but mostly I'm just hopeful. I do have at least 50 pages of BS that were drawn, but never completed, never uploaded. I'm going to start working on them and BS will return all new and shiny.
It's been almost a year since I've drawn ANYTHING at all, so I don't feel that I've just abandoned you, the readers, but that I've abandoned something I used to love, something that used to bring me such joy. I WILL be bringing Broken Star back and hopefully you, my loyal readers, will return with it.
