Chapter 1 page 27 - End of Chapter 1

Last page of chapter 1. Ended up ending it a couple of pages short. I had intended to run a couple more pages, but it just.. well the last panel on this page screamed "PREFECT ENDING" for chapter 1 and I couldn't resist. This is actually a re-do of the original opening chapter and is actually significantly longer than the original. I skipped the ritual as really it doesn't matter to the rest of the story, and now, with that out of the way, I can actually get to the good stuff. However, there is a slight warning.

The pages after this one(with a few exceptions)are the ORIGINAL artwork for this comic as I saw little need to redo it. (least for right now) with a few tweeks here and there for dialogue to work with the new prologue and a few replaced panels that show the monastery of Lasel, since i sucked at drawing buildings at the time. The artwork isn't as nice as the art you've been experiencing, but the plus side is that the updates will come regularly for as long as I have backlog. I want to try to get more done in that time, so by the time we reach chapter 3, I've got a significant backlog of new stuff and things can keep updating smoothly. I've got a few other comics in the wings, and having this take care of itself will be nice.
