If anyone thinks using a sound effect for a background like that is a bit of a copout to save time… you're wrong. That might apply if I had a letterer, but masking it so that it looks like it's behind the characters is pretty tedious and time-consuming work, and it reminds me of one of the biggest reasons (not that it's a good reason) why I switched to B/W…
