Okay, so about Naomi Ryder's name - I'm a big fan of the sci-fi show Andromeda, and Naomi's likeness is based on Lexa Doig, the actress who played the Andromeda AI. Her last name is taken from Lisa Ryder, who played Beka Valentine, and of course that's why the newsanchor's name is Lisa, and her last name, although it's not actually uttered here, is Valentine. She's not supposed to look like Lisa Ryder, though.

Now everybody point and laugh at the geek. Har.
