The pages that make me happiest are the ones where I've tried something new and feel like I've made it work, and this is one of them. The script called for an establishing shot of the city in the first panel, and that's how both of the previous pages started already, so I decided to try this vertical three-panel grid. And now I'm all giddy because I'm pretty sure it works.

If you're new or can't remember who these characters are, the stuttering guy with the big ears is Mouse, first seen on the last page of issue 2, who was the escaped "prisoner" Omega Squad thought would lead them to the Hellhounds' base of operations. Only he wasn't really a prisoner, but actually used as a guinea pig in a laboratory run by JCORP. So he went to the Hellhounds (the blonde is Fang, their leader) and told them about it because there's something there that they want - see issue 3, pages 12 and 13.
