I've been somewhat reluctant to do splash pages like this because I feel like if I only update once a week, there should be some meat on the bone. But in the big picture, I really felt that after the long dialogue scene and given the mayhem that will follow this one, I needed a big beat like this. So here it is. Also, show of hands - who DIDN'T see it coming that Atlas was going to be in this issue? ;-)

Recap: the guy getting his head twisted backwards is Atlas. In a glorious moment of "speak of the devil" the likes of which only superhero comics can deliver, Whiplash and Shockwire were just talking about him at the mall, and here he comes crashing through the ceiling, getting his clock cleaned by what appears to be a big fugly cyborg.

(I love big fugly cyborgs, and it's been too long since the last one.)
