Panel 4 here was the first time I used Sketchup to help me with backgrounds. I'm not sure yet if I'll keep using this method; the result looks okay to me, but it's very time consuming and fiddly to get it right. On the other hand, it does eliminate the need to hand-draw perspective grids on the page, which is something I hate with a passion words cannot describe. At the end of the day, I think I'll just need to cave in and get a damn lightbox so I can trace the perspective grids from a separate piece of paper. I was kinda hoping to avoid that because it's expensive, but… well, we'll see.

Recap: The big cyborg had a bomb in his chest and was going to blow up the shopping mall we're at (and himself) with it.
