While we boring humans tend to take our medicine orally, in the future, and in space, they have come to the conclusion that everything is more effective if you just stick it up the butt. Thus interacting with all the important organs found in the exhaust pipe directly.

Of course fans of this comic will know the ass is good for other things as well, such as time travel, so it really is an incredible contraption.
