There's some highly devious stuff going on and the Barons advisor is apparently part of it all. Busty being kidnapped, the letter and sending Busty to the slave mines was all part of a very elaborate and dodgy plan!

Quimby is part of a species that was enslaved by the baron long ago. Just as with all his other slave servants I'm sure there's been a long craving for revenge they might now finally get. Or not.
