This is the cover page of Butte–it was created using Illustrator and features a headless bug. It is a more abstract representation of Butte's fear. For some reason, He is semi-based off a leaf-footed stink bug that entered my dorm room and moved about. For some reason, I decided to name him Butte. I helped him leave via the window, though I decided to omit humans from the serial. In retrospect, it was pretty horrible of me to name in Butte, though it and he were so cute lol. Anyway, I kept the name for the serial and this bug in honor of him an for its literary qualities, which I discovered later. The name has nice onomatopoeic qualities and is a reference to the French "Botte," meaning boot–Butte's fear.

I went for a more minimalistic style throughout the serial.
