I happened to be sitting on the couch, yesterday. This stupid Mayoral debate was on TV and I was trying to read. I know I could have just turned the TV off, but I needed the noise and the clicker was way across the room (Yes, I call it "the clicker"). The news pundits were making such a big deal of the race that it made the zeal Mark David Chapman had for John Lennon look like a sweet little bit of fandom.

I currently had the dictionary-sized novel "Insomnia" in my hand and was trying on concentrate on Ralph's conversation of Dr. Wyzer when it sounded like one of the candidates was screeching curses in Romanian at the other.

My god. These people are nuts.
