I wouldn't want to bite something that smells like a leaky trashbag either! Y'know how veggies will turn into watery slime when they get left in the fridge too long? Stuff like that and meat grease (which you are not supposed to wash down the drain!) is what's dripping off and splattering everything. Menu might not be super picky about food but everybody's got standards, so there's at least some things that get tossed in the pit.

It was a bad time to be curious about what durians taste like!
