"Sike" was a word I sort of mulled over the spelling on, I ultimately went with the understanding I had of the word when I was a kid, this is how other kids spelled it (not realizing it's shortened from "Psyched you out!") and it's how the meme folks spell it, so I went with that. The incorrect spelling I feel, really invokes that era before the internet was readily available to correct things with quick searches and we just generally accepted that "sike!" was one of those made-up slang words the cool kids came up with to most obnoxiously demonstrate they tricked you.
