A comic's reality is really fragile, and many say that you should be very careful with it. Me - I like to break things.

I feel that breaking the fourth wall and "metacomiking" (my own fancy term) is a fun way to give characters motivation. It may be a recurring theme as time goes on. Got to remember not to beat it to death, though.
