Max is a lot of fun to draw, I don't know if its because its always fun for me to draw funny animal characters or the sheer humor potential behind his character. If it has yet to be pointed out, you have Mako as the "serious character", Cameron the middle man, leaving Max to be the wild and unrestricted character. This is compounded by the fact that he can do all sorts of nonsensical cartoon things which you'll see as we go along.
In this strip Max becomes a bearer of bad news….the already cramped room is getting a 3rd roommate, and much to Mako's chagrin Max has big party plans for this place. I suppose when you take a party hardy college student and combine them with an Acme style cartoon your asking for trouble. I do love Mako's Horrified reactions in this.
