Cameron and Max attempt to put together an fancy desk chair, but it doesn't go as planned. It's up to Mako to solve thier dilemma.
I upgraded my Adobe software this week, and am playing around with some of the new tools. I've also been taking a little time to improve my coloring ability in photoshop. I want to be the very best like no one ever was. This is the end of the furniture arc, but you'll see more of what furniture was purchased littered around the room as the time goes on. I figure at this rate if I play my cards right, maybe I can start sliding the comics event toward October in thier time frame. That way I can do a Halloween o' sode. But even If I did I'd never have an xmas episode in time. It's just the nature of this project…so much content, once a week. If I could work fast I'd try to do two a week, but it takes a surprising amount of time to get these strips done. Granted I've cut down the time since I've started by about half thanks to a combination of getting into a groove and getting a tablet. Still I'd prefer being faster.
I honestly have no idea how to promote this comic more than I have, I've posted in the forums, created the facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/CartoonU . I'm sure having my own website to post these on wouldn't exactly change that, and I'm not the kind of person to shamelessly whore myself out. I guess it would help if I participated in forum stuff more…but I'm not the kind of person who spends a lot of time on forums. I much prefer chat rooms when I do talk to people. I like the instant nature of the responses. As I near the 50th strip I'm starting to wonder if I should keep going in it's present form or not. But some people like it, so that keeps me somewhat positive about it. BTW if I don't say it enough, thanks for reading and especially thanks for commenting. See you next week.
