Trades

Todd got to have his first christmas with his dad. Trades and the gang met up at Trades' parents place and spent the night. Trades' mom has a tradition that she would do most of the decoration on the night before Christmas. It started when Hours was born. Trades' mom was worrying that her first child would not live to see another Christmas. She was told by the doctors, who had never seen a baby with Hours' condition, that her child would die of complications. Trades' dad decided not to get a tree… to save their money in case they needed to furnish a funeral. Trades' mother wanted to make Hours' first and probably last christmas the best he would ever have.

She hit up every all night store for decorations… she worked all night and when the sun came through the front windows she looked around her. Little Hours looked up from his crib and made a cooing sound. The new parent's cried.

As we all know Hours lived on… the doc went back to study up on the different types of cat people… Since then Trades' mother has decorated every christmas eve… so that when her children woke up the next day they would see the magic of Christmas.

Now little Toddy gets to see what his Aunt, Uncle, and Father had seen every year when they were younger.
