Hailing from the home of Ikea, Hardy was never drafted to Major League Hockey, however, his work ethic and all-round nice guy attitude earned him a try-out with the New York Rangers. After a couple of disappointing seasons, Hardy was dealt to the Nickel City Blast Chiefs for two pylons and a bag of pucks. He presently serves as Gully Golz's back-up goalie.
