Ok, so no new profiles this weekend. It's tough to choose what I should toss up instead. I mean it's the FISRT non-profile weekend, I should do something kinda nice.

When I was on hiatus for a year I had a couple Children at Play projects running. I made a flash animation of Nate walking (which came ok jerky but otherwise ok, especially for my first try.) Also I started work on the script for a pilot that began when Nate first got to college rather than at the very end of the sophomore year (when the webcomic begins.) This was the teaser I whipped up, and really my first attempt at vector crayons, rather than actual physical crayons which are alot easier but don't look as sharp.

I know from reading the comics that have gone up so far there hasn't really seemed like a running story, but thats why I've been implimenting directors cut comics, to flesh things out.

Basically it amounts to, in 2002 when I started this comic I didn't know what I was doing, where it was going, or what I wanted. Since then I have started constructing this little history for these characters and now I'm trying to get the history to correspond with the big gaps left in between comics.

Don't look for CAP: Frosh to happen anytime soon. Maybe when I finish CAP I'll go back and reissue the lost first four semesters. But thats so far away I can barely see it from here.
