So, back from my long weekend in maine! Video game system report. PS3 doesn't come with a highdef cord so if you try to plug it into a high def tv without one the graphics end up looking all plasticy. Secondly the ps3 launch games kinda blow. I don't really like FPS's but I'm well aware that if you ARE going to play an FPS you're probably better off doing it on the PC. I remain confident that the PS3 WILL be the best system you can get, but probably not for another 6 months. I love the new controller though, it's just different enough to be awesome.

The Wii on the other hand, to me still has very much the feeling of the "fad." Especially when I watched someone play link, I very much had the feeling that "this is retarded." I think it's a far better system to get if you have 4 other people to play with. I LOVED the little golf game that came pacakged with it, and as I said, you can't deny that its fun with 4 other people. However I had the really strong sensation that if I was playing this by myself or with someone over the internet, I'd be bored out of my mind.

So theres my assesment PS3 much better system, very poor launch, Wii more fun to play with friends, shorter lasting appeal.
