This is one of the few references to Nate only having one kidney now. Although we don't mention it much in the remaining history of the comic, it's always our understanding that he only has one kidney, so his tolerance for alcohol is way way down (as opposed to the reality of my college life where my tolerance was way way up, thank you irish heritage!) This is also one of the first times I make fun of my own character design. I do it a couple more times in the future but not nearly enough for my tasted.

On personal note, this storyline is probably my least beloved. It's too status quo for most college comics. Also, there isn't really the grain of reality that fits with most of our other storylines, even the more wacky oens. I'm planning on doing another party storyline in the distant future, but I'm planning on doing it right for C@P. I might be able to freshen it up when I redo the storyline with fresh art but it's already rather long, so I don't know if I'll need to add anything. Plus, thats like forever away, the amount of stuff that occurs between the first stroyline and this one, including the stuff that we left out, is extraordinary.
