Hmm, I wonder if I was trying to re-establish something with this one…

For someone who likes to think of themselves as a writer, I certainly wasn't very subtle. Granted I've taken a big side-step in subtlty to abortion jokes, but still. I've had people ask me why I even bother updating these old strips. The writing was often mediocre, the art was subpar at best. The reason is that at an undisclosed point along the line I began to develop the characters individually, beyond just the "gag-a-day" format. I instituted some running jokes, and honestly some of my current comics just aren't as funny if you haven't suffered through these older things.

Of course maybe I'm being hard on myself. I have a tendency to only see my mistakes, which is good because it helps me improve, but likewise bad because I demonstrate less personal pride in my older works, and reveals a deep-seeded selfconsciousness.
Who needs a psychologist, I can figger out what's wrong with me without any help XD
