It's 1AM, I have to be up to go to work in five hours. I am watching my…fourth episode of the third season of the office (american version) online, instead of sleeping, because its so fucking funny. I'd watch another, but then…well, what will I do during work tomorrow?

So I hope the wait was worth it for this strip, it was a hella lot of work. I can't begin to think how many drafts we went through to get the pacing down. The blur effect in panel 6 definately helped big time. What Chuck is shouting in panel 4 is supposed to be a reference to Mortal Kombat 2, specifically Raiden's "Superman" attack, during which he shouts (according to a bunch of online sources) jibberish. Ryan was worried no one would get the reference, but I held that it doesn't matter if you get the reference, even if you didn't Chuck was still just yelling jibberish while he tackled ryan, which is funny no matter what. In the end he convinced me to add the "toasty" guy, which all and all, I think is a good addition.

Oh! To anyone who actually reads this: Did I come up with the joke in panel 5? The "I need it for being looked at with" line? I don't remember taking it from somewhere, but I FEEL like I might have taken it from somewhere subconsciously. Maybe White Ninja? So if you recognize the line as being someone else's let me know, it's bugging the crap out of me.
