We had plans to bring in this upcoming character for a while…since, really, the inception of the comic. Occasionally jokes or concepts originally thought of in 2002 finally make their way into the strip 5 years later. We have more comic ideas than I have time to draw the comic, especially as the C@P universe expands and we have more and more characters to play with.

This is an example, however, of my inability to introduce characters well via plot, I have to seguey into them by breaking the fourth wall, or just have them show up one day for no reason. It's something I'm working on, especially with the director's cut strips. Speaking of which, one was supposed to go up today…sorry, playing poker stars all night last night. Tonite I needs to do laundry so I doubt I'll get one done before this weekend. Damn life, pulling me away from the comic.
