Lots of throwbacks to earlier comics here, some are important(ish) others are not, for example, the dean is the fellow they guys hit with a "water" balloon the previous night. The undisclosed liquid taking out his eye. The girl who works for the Dean is actually Becky's roommate, last scene in the ancient horrifyingly mediocre frat party storyline, and the chattery teeth is a throwback to the inventory report. …I think thats it.

Also I'd like to point out that I did not know that the dean of the college being named martin as a reference to legendery performer "Dean Martin" was formerly used in the Rodney Dangerfield movie "Back to School" at the time of the character's creation *despite* the fact that there was an ode to Mr. Dangerfield in the previous comic strip. I thought it was original.

But I also thought "SOMEONE else has HAD to have thought of this before. It's just SUCH and OBVIOUS joke."

To give you an idea of the time fram I drew these, I did yesterday's comic the week Rodney Dangerfield died. Hence the ode. So, October of 2004. This strip is almost 3 years old.
