So, I've always held that while yes, we have "nerd" humor, we also have alot of "guy" humor. I had a couple of female friends that were pretty cheesed off at me because of this comic, but chuck's little schpeil is a verified way to get free lunch, and most guys know it. The emphasis on "guy" humor over nerd humor, I've always believed, is one of the reasons that C@P never got that popular. The target audience for guy humor doesn't really spend alot of time online.

Of course I could just be in denial about how shitty C@P is, but I'm sticking with the whole "target audience" thing. Wierdly enough most of the fans I've talked to have been 15 year old girls. go fig.

Sort of an "in joke," but IRL chuck lost his card, I dunno like 15 times a semester, and then he had to go to the office and buy a new one for like 5 dollars every time. Then after he graduated they'd slowly start turning up again, he had like three or four ID's at any given time.
