This is one of the comics I'm proudest of on a bunch of levels, you can tell my art is kind of leveling out now, after being all over the place up until recently, you can finally see what it's evolving into. The actual joke is one of those jokes thats so simple and perfect that I genuinely feel like I couldn't come up with it like I tried. Dark humor and classic vaudevillian jokes are two things I'm big fans of and this somehow manages to be both. And the pacing is something that we've always tried to shoot for with C@P, like we hit you with something thats funny enough to be the punchline, then keep going for another two or three panels and thats the REAL punchline.

There will be comics where I say "oh I like this line" or "oh I like the look on his face" or "I like the dialogue here" but there are only a couple of the 300+ comics I've done where I really feel like it's all come together, and this is one of them.
