Well, I've updated the "Story So far…" It's getting a bit long, and will likely get even longer before this arc ends. However, when that happens will be a bit up in the air. I only have enough updates from the original site to polish off the end of the week, then DD will be caught up to my CG mirror. On friday I'll post a link to the CG site if anyone wants to check it out, it has alot of extra stuff that never got updated, old nateisms, old fillers, and the like that are on the "extras" page, I took them out of the cannon (although, interestingly (if your me anyway) enough some of them actually affect the cannon, for example we have a tablesaw in the kitchen now.)

I don't think updates will resume until after the final round of the Comic Remix and even then it's going to be limited to once or twice a week, depending on the size of the backlog I have and how satisfied I am with final storyboarded dialogue. That puts them restarting around early next year.

One of the things I'd wanted to do this year is finish redrawing the first storyline, complete with DC strips, but my focus shifted on a couple of occasions, due to the success of the Comic Remix project, and a resumed interest in my Modern Day Witchdoctor comic (which I'm trying to keep well ahead of update schedule, my goal is to finish chapter 1 while act 3 of chapter one is just getting started so I can offer the finished book to people who don't feel like waiting on updates.)

Children at Play will never die off completely, I just love it too much, I love writing it, I love the style of jokes, I love writing the characters and dialoge, and I love the way the art has developed. Unfortunately I spread myself too thin artistically and can never put the work into it that it deserves.
