Interesting Fact: Transmigration of the soul is the idea that after death one is reborn as a higher - or lower - lifeform, depending on one's karma. The philosophy is most commonly associated with hinduism. You will however find different concepts of it in many cultures - from pagan Celts to Siberian tribes - and even certain radical sects of major religions, like early gnosticism and sufism.
