Interesting fact: The fields of psychology and psychiatry overlap in many areas. But they differ just as much. The main difference is that a psychiatrist can prescribe medication. But not only that. Psychology deals not only with mental illness, but every field that requires insight into human behavior - pedagogy, advertising, sports or prison science (most notably the infamous Stanford experiment).
